Preschool

We believe that even the youngest little ones need to hear about and experience the love of Jesus Christ. Our teachers and volunteers provide activities, songs, and lessons about Jesus and His Love for babies through Kindergarten children each time they attend any of our Preschool Ministry programs.

Elementary

It is important that an Elementary child continue to hear, learn, and experience God’s Love. We desire to assist parents in the continuation of laying the spiritual foundation that will eventually lead to the child’s decision to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

The leaders in our Elementary Ministry focus on teaching the children about the Bible through discussion, games, crafts, songs, and other activities. It is our desire that children are not only taught truth from God’s Word, but also how to apply His Word to their daily lives.

Awana

We are excited that your kiddo will be joining us for our AWANA clubs! We look forward to partnering with you in building the faith of your child. We are all His workmanship and we are all working, growing and becoming more like Jesus- adults and kids alike!

Upward Sports

Yearly we offer Upward Basketball and Cheerleading. It is a great opportunity for kids to begin and gain skill in organized sports. Upward is Christ centered. We give every kid equal time to play and balance the teams skill levels so there is great competition and fair play. Upward is great for beginners and seasoned players alike.

Our Kidz ministry provides a biblical experience that includes Babies through 5th Grade.

What’s available on Wednesday Nights?

Awana runs from 6:30- 7:30 on Wednesday nights during the school year for Babies- 5th Grade.

The Children and Preschool Ministries are some of the most influential mission fields that you can be a part of as we lay the foundation for little ones to have a personal relationship with Christ. Chris Giddens

Pastor Chris has served at Kennesaw First Baptist since November of 2016. He and his wife Melanie live in Kennesaw with their son Jacob and their dog Bo. Chris is a graduate from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Management. He has a Masters in Christian Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served on staff in churches since 1994.

Heather Smith

Heather has served as Preschool Director at Kennesaw First since June of 2020. She and her husband, Corey, live in Acworth with their three children. Heather graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
