If you weren’t in ministry, what would you be doing? Why?
I would be a pilot because I love to fly and love seeing the world from above.

What’s on your iPod?
Lectures, Bible, Aaron Shust, classical music, Audio Adrenaline, Third Day

What’s on your plate for dinner?
Anything Erin cooks. Whenever there’s an opportunity, Moe’s Southwest Grill is where you will find me.

Talk about how your childhood has affected your life today.
Growing up, my parents always took my brother and me to church. Their devotion to Christ and faith was and still is an encouragement for me to keep following the Lord.

When did you make Jesus your Lord and Savior?
On May 15, 1997 at 4:15 pm. I knew that I was missing something in my life and realized that I needed Jesus.

Other than Jesus, who has been an influential person(s) in your life?
My wife Erin because of the tremendous faith she has in Jesus Christ. Others are Chris Cooper and Jamie Dew because of their sincerity and willingness to mentor me in preparation for the ministry.

Holiday Inn Express or Jellystone Campground?
Holiday Inn Express - sleeping outside and on the ground is not my thing.

What Bible verse best describes you?
1 Samuel 16:7: “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have not rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

What’s your favorite movie? Why?
Apollo 13, because of how they got the astronauts home. They never gave up, which applies to the Christian life, NEVER GIVE UP.

Other than Jesus, who would you most like to have lunch with? Why?
Mark Richt because I am an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and Coach Richt is not ashamed of his faith.

What’s your secret ambition?
To attend the Daytona 500, Bristol Motor Speedway, a Georgia/Florida, and a Georgia/Georgia Tech football game. I absolutely love sports.

What favorite books are on your shelf?
The Bible of course. Other than the Bible: Biblical Preaching—Haddon Robinson; The Case for Christ—Lee Strobel; APA Publication Manual- (It’s your friend in doctoral work).
