Director of Children's Ministries

If you weren’t in ministry, what would you be doing? Why?
Something with children – they’re so much fun, I enjoy being with them and they keep me young!!
What’s on your iPod?
I guess “Lonely”, since I don’t have one!
What’s on your plate for dinner?
It depends on if I’m being good or not. I like almost everything!!
Talk about how your childhood has affected your life today.
I was raised by two wonderful, Godly parents and have attended church almost all my life. I have loved my Savior for so many years and have always wanted to please Him! I believe that being the oldest of four children has made a difference in my life also. It’s funny, but I was always extremely shy when I was younger, but I guess going to college at night with mostly men changed me. I still don’t like to be in the limelight, but I don’t get physically sick like I did when I was in the 7th grade. I also love sports! I played softball from the time I was 7 years old and eventually was the co-captain of our softball team at Sprayberry High School.
When did you make Jesus your Lord and Savior?
When I was 9 years old my Dad led me to the Lord and we prayed in my bedroom one night.
Other than Jesus, who has been an influential person(s) in your life?
My parents & Pastor Johnny Hunt
Holiday Inn Express or Jellystone Campground?
Holiday Inn if I want to be with my husband since he would never go camping.
What Bible verse best describes you?
3 John 1:4 “I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.”
What’s your favorite movie? Why?
Gone With The Wind – I enjoy learning about that time in history and I especially love the beautiful dresses!
Other than Jesus, who would you most like to have lunch with?
Why? Elvin, my husband, because I love him the MOSTEST!
What’s your secret ambition?
OK, I have to say it – to rule the world! (I know that you thought the same thing when you read that question!) Actually, my only ambition is to leave this world a little better than it was when I got here by following God’s will for my life.
What favorite books are on your shelf?
Have you seen my bookshelf – too many to choose from!!
