Meet Charles Pearce
Minister to Senior Adults

If you weren’t in ministry, what would you be doing?  Why?

Working an outside job, having a home Bible study and visiting people.

What’s on your iPod?

If I had an iPod, I would have a few of the old hymns plus songs of praise to the Lord.

What’s on your plate for dinner?

I like everything, especially pies and cakes with ice cream.

Talk about how your childhood has affected your life today.

I lived through the depression so I'm content with what I have.

When did you make Jesus your Lord and Savior?

When I was 17 years old, I quit school to join the Marines.  A week before I left, a friend invited me to a city-wide revival meeting.  It was at that meeting that I asked Jesus to be my Savior.

Other than Jesus, who has been an influential person(s) in your life?

My wife, Isabelle, her father (who was a pastor) and my mother.

Holiday Inn Express or Jellystone Campground?

I like them both, but if I want my wife to be with me, it is the Holiday Inn Express.

What Bible verse best describes you?

Revelations 3:8  "...I set before you an open door and no one can shut it.  You have little strength, yet you have kept My Word and not denied My Name". For 57 years God has opened doors to ministry for Him.

What’s your favorite movie?  Why?

My favorite movies are Walt Disney movies, The Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation and Miracle on 34th Street.

Other than Jesus, who would you most like to have lunch with?  Why?

My wife, Isabelle.  She has been my best friend for 56 years.

What’s your secret ambition?

Cross the finish line and still active in ministry

What favorite books are on your shelf?
